Artist's Statement

I believe that at times we find images/ideas to be unattractive when really they just agitate, or frighten us. But often if/when we get beyond fear or agitation, we comprehend a beauty we wouldn't have otherwise. It can work in the reverse too. If we restrict ourselves to what we've known, such as is common in graphic design, we learn and grow less. If we persist with such an approach, we might as well dig a grave and crawl in. So my statement, for what it's worth, is the work itself, and I hope it's more full of questions and doubts than assertions.
